Organiser National Schools' Observatory

Organiser of The NSO Presents... An Elf Space Adventure

With the National Schools' Observatory, you can explore the Universe from your classroom with the world's largest robotic telescope.

We are part of Liverpool John Moores Univerisity's Astrophysics Research Institute. We use the wonders of space to inspire the next generation of scientists, programmers and engineers. That’s why we give free use of the world’s largest robotic telescope, the Liverpool Telescope (LT), to schools around the world.

We run regular free CPD sessions for teachers. Our quality programmes are designed to have a positive impact on teaching and learning in schools.
