The Numitas CFO Club is a free, invitation only get together, with a format designed for CFOs by CFOs. Meetings are characterised, by their informality there are:
No selling or pitches of any kind
No PowerPoint presentations
No technical updates
Our speakers are entrepreneurs and senior executives who are there to share their experiences, the lessons they have learned and the stories they dine out on. Over 400 CFOs have attended club meetings.

Cantab Capital Partners is one of the world’s leading systematic fund managers.
Cantab currently has around US$4 billion under management and was recently acquired by global asset management firm GAM for US$217 million plus deferred payments.
Ewan will be talking us through this exciting transaction and how he combines science with finance.
Based in Cambridge, the firm has close ties to the University and operates more like a scientific research organisation that a City trading firm.
Ewan co-founded Cantab Capital Partners 10 years ago after working at Goldman Sachs, where he ran the 120-strong Strategies Group in Europe and was responsible for quantitative technology. He has a PhD in Mathematics (General Relativity) a Certificate in Advanced Study in applied Mathematics and a First Class degree in Natural Philosophy and Astronomy.
These days, Ewan focuses on research and development, risk management and managing the quantitative team, combining his market, technology and fund management experience with the theory and practice of quantitative finance.
Ewan will talk about founding and growing his firm. He will explain why his methods of systematic investment work and why he founded the Cantab Capital Institute for the Mathematics of Information at Cambridge University.
