In collaboration with Hillingdon Council,and the iconic Hanwell Hootie Music Festival, this Old Vinyl Factory Festival celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Hayes and West London. Hayes is a place where history, diversity, and creativity converge. The festival will pay tribute to the iconic Old Vinyl Factory—once home to EMI Records and the birthplace of legendary albums by artists like The Beatles and Pink Floyd—while celebrating the area’s evolution into a thriving hub of contemporary culture.

Taking place from 11.30am to 5pm on Saturday 27th September, the festival is free to attend, with no ticket necessary, and will bring together young and emerging talent, established artists, and local community groups to showcase the full spectrum of Hayes’ musical and cultural scene. Dedicated performance spaces will honour artistic heritage of the Vinyl Factory while creating opportunities for future stars.

The event will reflect the unique spirit of Hayes, with a line-up blending genres like rock, indie, jazz, soul, and hip-hop, ensuring the festival feels authentic, inclusive, and deeply connected to Hayes.

This FREE TO ATTEND event includes:

- A range of Live Music performances from local Hayes artists including young and emerging talent, established artists and community groups - curated by the legendary Hanwell Hootie Music Festival.

- A line-up of the best local food and drinks vendors curated by T&T Markets, the West London based Street Food Market Operator.

- A Vinyl Record Fair, offering opportunities to browse, purchase and take home from a range of vendors, curated by local organisation Groove Seekers.

- Free Children's activities and creative workshops

By bridging past and present, the Old Vinyl Factory Festival aims to inspire a new generation of creators and music lovers while cementing Hayes as a vibrant cultural and creative destination.

What happens if it rains?

The event is held outdoors so please dress accordingly for the weather, which may include bringing an umbrella. Whilst we have our fingers crossed for good weather, come rain or shine we will be providing a day of fantastic music, brilliant food, family friendly activities and a chance to purchase treasures from the Record Fair.

T&T Markets are a West London based Street Food Market Operator. They run regular markets at locations in Ealing, Greenford and Brentford to name a few! With a focus on championing local independent businesses, the T&T team are curating a mouth watering lineup for this event featuring some of the best, most exciting street food options that Hayes has to offer.

Groove Seekers are a Hillingdon based organisation of Vinyl enthusiasts. Often rare, and always groovy, they'll be bringing the best funk, soul, latin, jazz and reggae records along with many others!..
