Meet Jane and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and cake, and toilet stop at The King's Head Restaurant, a beautiful and atmospheric former 17th century Stage Coach Inn.
And receive a warm welcome onto the Tour by Jane!
10.30 am to 11.15
Walk to Greensted Church across the fields, along part of The Essex Way!
Field Walking with beautiful panoramic views over fields of Essex countryside.
11.15 to 11.45 am
History tour at Greensted church – the Oldest Wooden Church in the World.
The history will amaze you!
Coffee and picnic Stop at church
Please bring your own picnic! Or Jane can make a picnic for you on request!
11.45 to 12.15
Sloe Berry Picking, and demonstration of how to make Sloe Wine. Jane's old country recipe given to all guests to enjoy!
12.15 to 1pm
Walk down to Ongar
1 pm tour ends at The Kings Head Restaurant, where you can enjoy a drink or meal. Please book a restaurant place, before the tour date well in advance.
