Here is the perfect excuse to bring out your sewing machine, and learn how to sew from the comfort of your home with our simple cushion-making tutorial. Think of it as a live YouTube class, but with the chance to meet other sewers, stop and ask questions, and work alongside your own machine.
During lockdown, we moved our sewing classes online and taught +40 beginner sewers (some who had never sewn before!) how to create beautiful projects at home, with just a laptop, machine and fabric, using our simple patterns. Since then, we’ve hosted in-person classes across London, but found that many people still want the option to get to know their machines , without carrying a heavy load across the city.
Our online classes start with small items to build confidence and sewing skills. Every attendee also gets access to exclusive video tutorials (filmed at multiple angles for the self taught home sewers) packed with industry tips, taught by a Savile Row tailor and a TV Costume Producer - both with decades of experience.
