Event description

Description

Arrive from 1830

The event will firstly look at a decision making model that is underpinned by an ethical base. The second half will be Professor Eugene Sadler-Smith outlining intuition in decision making.

David Snelling, Guildford Group Chair through an interactive short session, will outline the National Decision Making Model used by the Police Service. David will also use group discussion to explore the role of ethics in organisations.

The CIPD will be outlining in May and launching in September a new professional framework with an ethical base.

Professor Sadler-Smith will draw on his recent research to outline how intuition plays a part in decision making.

The evening will allow members to reflect on both fast-time and planned decision making techniques. The importance of recording the rationale for decision making will also be explored.

The session gives practical, yet inspiring tools, tips and activities on how you and your team make ethical and defensible decisions.

Ideal for any team leader requiring a significant outcome, who is working to meet short and longer term deadlines and in a pressurised environment.
