The Right Bank refers to the central area of the city north of the Seine and can be contrasted to the Left Bank which lies to the south and was known as an area for intellectuals and artists (Florent's Latin Quarter tour takes us there).
On this tour we'll be starting at the Opera Garnier, uncontroversially one of the most beautiful buildings of the Haussmanian Paris. From there, Florent will weave through some impressive jewelry shops to take us to Place Vendôme where we will see the column Napoleon built to commemorate the Battle of Austerlitz.
We'll then marvel at the beauty of the Tuileries gardens, a UNESCO world heritage site, before stopping at Concord Square which marks the starting point of the Champs-Élysées. It also has the oldest monument in Paris - can you guess what it is? No cheating!
What to expect
Get ready for something special. We're travelling to Paris with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you'll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and amazing guide.
The tour will last about 30 mins and will be live-streamed by your guide directly from Lisbon. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your guide and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
*Please note that even if you received an Eventbrite confirmation, you will need to register and book the tour on www.virtualtrips.io to be officially confirmed.
