The Opposite of Lonely
Event Information
About this Event
What is The Opposite of Lonely?
Throughout 2019, people have gathered to think about community innovation in Worthing - and what happens when people of all stripes get together around the things that matter.
In this latest event, we ask could a town like Worthing create a social movement that rejects the very concepts of loneliness and isolation?
We'll hear from innovators who have been testing ideas on participation and active citizenship, design-led community services, new space for people to find their tribe.
We'll draw innovation and inspiration from local, regional and national ideas, building on what we know works for Worthing.
This free event, with some drinks and nibbles, will take place at Guild Care and is open to anyone living or working in Adur and Worthing with an interest in socially-focused innovation, cross-sector problem-solving - or simply connecting with motivational people.
