THE PATH OF THE OAK (2 year training in Druidry & Celtic Healing)

COURSE OUTLINE:

Join Kubi May for a 2 year journey walking The Path of the Oak ; an in depth course of study exploring the ancient ways of our Celtic ancestors. Designed as a school of knowledge about Druidry, Land Magic & Celtic Healing, by the end of the two years, you'll have completed:

• 4x full workshop days (called 'The Four Groves') visiting the sacred sites and training upon the enchanting lands of Avalon in Glastonbury. Over these 4 Grove days, (which are taught approximately 6 months apart), you'll learn how to heal yourself, commune with the magic of the land, perform sacred rituals, craft a full range of altar tools, and hold 1-1 Celtic Healing sessions with clients.

• Inbetween the 4x Grove training dates, there will be monthly online group meetings on Zoom, exploring the sacred Druidic wisdom and folklore of the 20 Ogham Trees, which could be considered an ancient rite of passage to develop yourself spiritually in alignment with natural magic. You'll craft the Ogham as 20 wooden staves alongside this, one month at a time, until you have a full divination set (similar to Runes- see image below). Click here to learn more about the Ogham.

• Each month, you'll receive a PDF study guide featuring ways to celebrate the Celtic Season, how to connect with the Ogham tree of the month and it's corresponding folklore, plus herbal remedies & spiritual crafts to make with each one. Additionally, all students will receive a free physical book outlining the teachings for each Grove level.

• The two year study culminates with a traditional candlelit Samhain Banquet in Glastonbury with a ritual to honour our ancestors. Here, you'll be awarded your Certificate in Celtic Healing and bid a fond farewell to the other students who have walked this sacred path with you.

STUDY ONLINE OR IN GLASTONBURY, UK:

The 2 year course is available in two formats: One as an in-person series of training upon the lands of Avalon in Glastonbury and the other option as a cheaper series of online training (for those who live overseas and don't want to miss out!)

In this Grove, you'll learn how to ...

- Explore the Celtic life force, Awen, and invite this sacred energy into your life.

- Explore Celtic symbols and their meanings as you create an alter to celebrate the Celtic festivals of the year.

- Learn about the Celts, including the Druids & their spiritual beliefs.

- Learn about Celtic healing herbs, crystals and remedies as you create your own natural medicine kit- a relaxing balm, a soothing syrup and a healing herbal tea to take home with you.

- Learn about a traditional Celtic ritual to bless the hearth and home, to call in abundance and healing and also how to conduct a full moon ritual.

- Experience a drum journey to call in your Celtic spirit animal familia with some proto-celtic chants to invoke their wisdom through a shapeshifting meditation.

- Connect with the God and Goddess of the land in the candlelit White Spring and ask for their water blessings as you step onto the Celtic healing path.

In this Grove, you'll learn how to ...

- Experience a 'land breathwork' trance and connect with a Faery nature spirit.

- Meet the famous Arthurian folklore trees- Gog and Magog and make your own oak tree tincture, learning about why trees were were so important to the druids.

- Create a hag stone talisman necklace to control and summon the weather.

- Connect to the sky element and calling in the 4 winds from the top of the Tor, learning about cloud scrying and bird divination for future prophecy.

- Connect to the earth element with a nature mandala and vision quest across the sacred land.

- Connect to the fire element with a fire release ritual and learn divination from the flames and ash for sacred wisdom.

- Connect to the water element at the White Spring and learning how to divine the hidden messages in the sound of the water.

"THE GROVE OF THE OTHERWORLD" -

In this Grove, you'll ...

- Learn about the Old Gods and the folklore behind their arrival on Earth.

- Connect with the enchantress of the land- Morgan le Fay- as we journey with a guided meditation with your chosen tree in the Avalon apple orchards, before crafting your very own wand from its branches.

- Visit the Abbey ruins to explore the native sacred plants of the Celts, while creating your own Otherworld 'Third-eye' Oil in the medicine garden.

- Learn about the cauldron of Awen and unlock the prophetic power of the Bards with some Taliesin style poetry.

- Learn about Otherworld trance states such as sweat huts, native sacred plant medicines and Awenyddion chanting and experience this first hand with a cup of Mugwort tea combined with a group sound weaving session chanting the Awen and Proto-Celtic songs.

- Make contact and form an ally with one of the old gods from the Otherworld as we learn about protection and the correct etiquette of contact with the Otherworld spirits.

"THE GROVE OF THE ANCESTORS" -

In this Grove, you'll learn how to ...

- Use your Ogham set for Divination.

- Weave your own saining bundle (like a smudge stick) from native herbs.

-Visit Chalice Well to connect to your ancestors beside the sacred yew trees and gather the sacred healing spring water from both the red and white spring.

- Learn how to cast a circle for protection.

- Learn how to perform a burn and release ritual.

- Learn how to do a full 1-1 Celtic Healing session for clients, to bring energy clearing to their ancestral line. (Note: Following this training day, you'll be asked to practise this with 9x volunteer client sessions over the 3 months leading up to your graduation day in October and will receive supervision in those last 3 monthly zoom calls.)

CERTIFICATE CEREMONY

The two year study culminates with a traditional candlelit Samhain Banquet in Glastonbury with a ritual to honour our ancestors. Here, you'll be awarded your Certificate in Celtic Healing and bid a fond farewell to the other students who have walked this sacred path with you.

• GOLD - Study as a monthly online Ogham group class (Zoom). Plus the 4 x Groves of Wisdom full training Days (in person) in Glastonbury. Total cost of course: £888

• SILVER - Study as a monthly online Ogham group class (Zoom). Plus the 4 x Groves of Wisdom but as online classes. Total cost of course: £555

• BRONZE - Just the monthly online Ogham group class (Zoom). (Note: A certificate in Celtic Healing can only be awarded for those who study the 4x Groves of Wisdom too) Total cost of course: £333

YOUR TEACHER:

Kubi May is a BA Hons Creative Therapist (MNCIP) and White Witch with ceritificates in Eco-Therapy, Herbalism, Celtic Mythology & Shamanism.

A local to Glastonbury, she spends her time out on the land in ritual, foraging flowers and plants to transform into tinctures, sculpting Druid staffs and offering theraputic healing services for the community, based on the ancient wisdom of Celtic folklore .
