About this event
The Pause That Changes Everything™
In person, for women at a crossroads - ready to stop putting themselves last, press pause, and finally ask: “What about me?”.
You’ve been holding it all together for a long time.
Showing up, staying capable, keeping the plates spinning, even when it’s been costing you more than anyone knows.
Now? You’re tired. A little lost. Maybe starting to wonder: What about me?
This workshop is a space to pause, reconnect, and remember who you are, beyond the roles, the pressure, and the people-pleasing.
What to expect
Think grounded, no BS and tools that work with you / for you. And Claire's no-fluff yet incrediblly safe approach.
Led by Claire Godwin - Coach, Facilitator, and Speaker with over two decades of experience in personal and leadership development.
Claire is an accredited coach at advanced level in both 1:1 and group coaching. Her career spans senior roles in HR and the NHS, along with 15+ years working freelance in leadership and team development. She’s coached dozens of women and supported leaders, teams, and purpose-led business owners through real, human change - the kind that actually sticks.
Claire blends evidence-based tools with her deep-rooted calling to help others, a sense of fun, and the belief that you don’t need fixing, you already have what you need. You just need the space to explore a new way of showing up.
She’s grounded, a little sweary, and brilliant at creating safe, no-fluff spaces where women can finally get real… and start moving forward.
For the first time, this workshop brings together the most powerful tools and insights Claire has used over the years - into a focused and intensive half-day session.
"I’ve pulled together years of experience, tools, and coaching into this one space; kept the price accessible because I want the right people in the room.
Future events may evolve … this price won’t stay"
You’ll explore:
• The sneaky energy drains hiding in plain sight (hint: it's not just your to-do list)
• Why your nervous system thinks saying no is basically death, and how to convince it otherwise
• Sneaky ways people-pleasing shows up
• What your body's been trying to tell you (and why you've been too busy to listen)
You’ll leave with:
• Clarity that comes from finally asking the right questions
• A toolkit that doesn't require you to become a completely different person
• Language for the changes you’ve been thinking about but haven’t said out loud
• Permission slips you can actually cash in
✨ Why now? Because you're smart enough to know that waiting until you have a breakdown isn't actually a strategy. Because there's a difference between being busy and being purposeful. Because that little voice asking "what about me?" deserves an actual answer.
Frequently asked questions
This is for women (typically aged 40–65) who’ve spent years putting others first — and are now feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or quietly asking, “What about me?” If you’re ready to pause and reconnect with yourself, this is your space.
Not at all. You just need to be curious and open. This isn’t therapy, and it’s not about fixing you — it’s about giving yourself the space to reflect, breathe, and take one small, brave step toward what matters to you.
Only if you want to. There’s no pressure to talk in front of the group — everything is invitation-only. It’s a safe, respectful space where you’ll be supported to take part in a way that feels right for you.
You’ll be guided through practical coaching tools and reflective exercises — including values work, journaling prompts, boundary-setting, and a look at the hidden cost of people-pleasing. Expect clarity, calm, and maybe a little courage too.
A little — in the best way. It’s rooted in real coaching psychology and grounded personal leadership work, with a soft sprinkle of soul. No jargon. No pressure. Just thoughtful, honest space to come back to yourself.
Just yourself — and maybe a notebook and pen if you prefer to write in your own journal. A printed mini workbook will be provided on the day. Tea and snacks are included.
We get it — life happens. While we’re not able to offer refunds (as venue costs are committed in advance), you’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend or colleague. Just let us know their name before the event.
Possibly - but this is the only time it’ll be offered at this launch price.
