Event Description:

The Field School is part of the PLACE project which is an archaeological investigation that aims to understand the communities who inhabited the southern fringes of Poole Harbour from Prehistory to today. The fieldwork takes place within Purbeck, a county of outstanding natural beauty and one of the best preserved archaeological landscapes in Britain. The project is run as a Bournemouth University summer field school.
