Event description

Description

The poems of the First World War have done more than any history when it comes to revealing the horrors of trench warfare. The work of the soldier artists and the official war artists is less well known. We will look at some of the Great War poets and artists in this talk which is illustrated with slides and readings.

This event is part of our commemoration of the centenary of Passchendaele - the Third Battle of Ypres.
