About this Event

We warmly invite you to the lecture “The Politics of Knowledge and African Struggles for Epistemic Freedom”, delivered by leading African decolonial scholar Professor Sabelo J. Ndlovu-Gatsheni.

The lecture includes a Q&A session and will be followed by a reception. Prof. Sabelo Ndlovu-Gatsheni is Professor at the University of South Africa and head of the African Decolonial Research Network. He has published several books and articles on decoloniality, Africa, development, Pan-Africanism and the academy, among others.

The event will take place in the David Sizer Lecture Theatre (Bancroft Building) on Queen Mary’s Mile End Campus on Monday October 21st from 18:45 to 20:30. Everyone is welcome.
