Description

Dr. Elizabeth Williams examines the British support for the anti-apartheid movement among its own Black communities. Join Dr. Williams to discuss her book, The Politics of Race in Britain and South Africa: Black British Solidarity and the Anti-apartheid Struggle and view documents from LMA's archive collection on the anti-apartheid movement in London.

Dr. Williams taught as a visiting lecturer in modern history at the University of Northampton, Goldsmiths University of London and City Literary Institute, the Centre for Adult Learning in London. Currently she works as a subject librarian at Goldsmiths University of London.
