Did you know that potatoes were the first vegetable to go to space?

These familiar friends are easy to grow and this month we will be giving them a head start, ready to plant out in a few weeks. One seed potato will produce up to ten to fifteen more potatoes! Each one of these can be a different shape and size and they can even be grown in a large pot.

This week let’s learn about these lumpy, warty tubers and get creative with them in a fun and informative dive into spuds.
