About this event

Welcome to HeaRling - The Power of Being Heard: A Circle for Healing & Connection event in Sōma Home Stoke Newington London

Join us on July 23, 2025 at 7:00 PM in STUDIO 4 for an evening of sharing and meaningful connections.

HeaRling is all about creating a safe space where everyone's voice is valued and heard. Let's come together to share our stories, listen with empathy, and support one another on our healing journeys, with no judgement. This space is about feeling safe and supported, even when it gets a bit messy. Lets share our stories, and remind each other that we’re not alone in this life.

You don’t need to wear a mask here.

You don’t have to have it all together.

You can breathe without pretending, and speak without shrinking.

Whether you’re ready to open up or just beginning to explore what’s underneath the surface, you’ll be met with acceptance.

No judgement. No pressure. Just real people, sharing real moments, in a space that makes it safe to just be.

What to expect:

A calm, welcoming space (no pressure to speak)
A small, intimate group
Gentle prompts for those who wish to share
Deep listening, no advice-giving
Grounding practices to open and close the space
A warm, held atmosphere - with tea if we’re in person!

Whether you come to share, to listen, or just to breathe - you are welcome here.
Spiritual or not, talkative or quiet, this space is for you.

This isn't therapy and isn't about fixing you.
It’s about being real. Being human. Being heard.
And allowing your story to sit gently in a room where judgement has no place.

About Me

Hi, I’m Sheena
I know what it feels like to carry your story in silence.
To feel like no one gets it.
To be surrounded by people and still feel alone.

When I attended my first sharing circle, I didn’t speak. I was too scared. Too ashamed.
But someone else’s words cracked something open in me.
And for the first time, I felt seen.
That moment changed my healing journey, and now, I’m creating the kind of space I once needed.

Frequently asked questions

Is this space for people of all genders?

Yes, this circle is for everyone, all genders, all identities, all experiences. You belong.

Do I have to share if I don't want to?

This space is yours to experience in whatever way feels right for you. There’s no pressure to speak, ever. Listening can be deeply healing on its own. You’re welcome to simply be present, take in the stories, and connect in silence.

I'm not spiritual, am I still ok to join?

This space is for humans, not labels. Whether you see healing through a spiritual lens, a personal one, or you’re just curious, you are welcome here. All that’s needed is an open heart, a little respect for others, and the willingness to simply show up as you are. No expectations. No judgement.

My name is Sheena and I'm a trauma informed mindset coach from London.

I have experience in life and not being heard, and always feeling alone. I started my own healing journey a few years ago, and one of the most profound experiences was a sharing circle I attended about a year ago. I didn’t speak at first as I was filled with shame and thought that others would judge me, but after hearing someone share something that was similar to the trauma I had been holding onto, it gave me the power to share my story too. I think about this a lot. And realised that many people don’t have access to safe spaces to this, and this is why I wanted to facilitate sharing circles. I would loveto build a community where people can share their stories with love and no judgement.
