About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Come join us for a heartfelt and nourishing Sharing Circle, created for queer, South Asian women and non-binary people of colour.

As we immerse ourselves into the thick of summer - we may be feeling energised, revitlised and fueled with fire. Summer brings about joy, the power of manifestation and a season where we really allow ourselves to be seen as we've bloomed and grown over the year.

What seeds have you planted that have slowly taken shape this year? How are you contining to nurture and water your garden?

This intimate circle gives us the space so slow down, soften, remember and connect. To witness each and everyone as they hold themselves steady and strong in this new season.

This circle gives you the opportunity to:

- Speak your truth and truly be heard in a non-judgmental, caring environment.

- Build meaningful connections and friendships through shared moments of vulnerability and joy.

- Embrace community as a source of strength, healing, and inspiration.

Whether you're riding the waves high, feeling unsteady or not sure, or just want a place to anchor, this is your invitation to simply come as you are. Let’s nurture each other, honour our journeys, and revel in the beauty of collective care at The Yoga Cafe.

I can’t wait to share this space with you.

P.S 10% of donations for this event will go towards supporting Palestinians who are at risk of famine. The Money donated from this event will be donated to the Gaza Soup Kitchen.

What if I want to come but don't have anything to share?

That's absolutely fine too, just being held in a supportive environment with community can do wonders for your healing and growth. There is no pressure to speak or to share.

Organised by

Brown Queer Feme MCR is a community for queer, South Asian women around the Manchester area focused on empowerment, growth and meaningful connections. We know how hard it is to find community, like minded souls who resonate with our stories and find a place where we feel like we truly belong. I plan to organise events from networking to workshops & wellness events throughout the year so keep following to stay up to date.
