Join Pasture for Life for the last of our FREE, in person AFN Network + events in Wales for 2025.
At Pantglas, an Organic and Pasture for Life certified dairy farm in Llanboidy, participants will hear from Sally Wood and Garry Ehm about their innovative approaches to harnessing the power of plants. As members of the Calon Wen cooperative, they will share insights from their collaboration with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, during the Calon Gwenyn and Pasture for Pollinators projects.
Emma Douglas will provide an introduction to the wide ranging benefits of native plant species, including their positive impacts on soil health, animal wellbeing, the nutritional quality of meat and dairy, and wider biodiversity.
Sally and Garry will lead a farm walk to discuss their grazing strategies, including this year’s AMP grazing trial and their experience of using herbal leys.
Tea, coffee and cake on arrival.
