This evening event is to provide a forum to disseminate research findings from Teamwork, a group consisting of schools and local authorities, and involving schools, private, voluntary and independent sector (PVI) settings and representatives from Calderdale Local Authority. The project was funded by the National College of Teaching and Leadership (NCTL).
The project was intended to develop children’s fine motor skills using a structured programme of activities using playdough to improve emergent handwriting.
The evening will be a social event with input from:
Teamworks presenting an overview of the project and the objective
University lecturers Sam McMahon and Nicola Firth will present their findings from involvement in the project
Dr Jane Murray will present a Keynote sharing her research on 'Children as Researchers'
Networking, tea and cake

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There will be on-campus parking accessible from Queensgate Road entrance on a first come basis. There is additional information regarding travel and campus details availabel on the University website at: http://www.hud.ac.uk/about/maps/
Can I update my registration information?
Returning to your Eventbrite booking will enable you to update your attendance should your availability change.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
We would welcome you advising colleagues who may wish to attend with you to make their own registration on Eventbrite. However, a late substitution for you would be acceptable.
Prior to the date you will receive a final email with rooming details.
I can't attend, what do I do?
