The Power of Sisterhood // online event for young women in business
Event Information
About this Event
Have you ever found yourself scrolling social media feeling as if everyone else is out there achieving their dreams, and that maybe no space will be left for you?
Thoughts of doubt, inadequacy and jealously are things we all experience from time to time. At the next in our online event series we'll explore why as women we're predisposed to feel these feelings, and discover how we can turn such emotions on their head, to be used as a force for good.
Women supporting women is more than just a hashtag, and standing beside one another we can change the game for every woman and girl.
What should I expect?
The evening will include:
- Open, judgement-free sharing & discussion
- Coaching style self-reflection exercises
- Q&A with our founder
- Opportunity to join our free community of young women in business
bossy girl events are relaxed, informal and tailored to you. You can join in and contribute as much or as little as you like.
Is the event for me?
Our events are open to all young women. Whether you're running a business, thinking of starting one or simply interested in the world of female entrepreneurship. We'd love to see you there.
What should I bring?
All you'll need is a notebook and pen (cup of tea or glass of wine optional).
Who's leading the event?
Our founder Joanna will be leading the event. Here's a little about her in her own words:
"I started my own creative business in 2011, and it has since grown to become the UK's leading training programme for young dancers. I've had the pleasure of working with thousands of performers over the years, seen them dance to tens of thousands through live events and many millions more through those that were televised. I've built friendships and made memories to last a lifetime, and most importantly of all, have been able to provide skills, training and opportunities to young people whom otherwise may never have had access.
It's been a whirlwind journey, and having started at 17, everything I know I've learnt along the way. I love running my own business and believe wholeheartedly that the world needs more female leaders. Through bossy girl I hope to provide the training, support and guidance I wish had been there for me."
