The Power of Storytelling in Building Inclusive Workplaces
Join DEI advocate, Niti Nadarajah as she shares her own workplace experiences and discusses how storytelling can be a powerful, yet vulnerable tool that connects us with one another.
Niti will explore how storytelling can be brought to life in workplaces and how to effectively share your DEI story.
The session will include breakout groups where you will be given an opportunity to tell your own DEI story in a small group or one-on-one environment.
About Niti:
Niti is a coach, freelance general counsel and DEI advocate based in Melbourne with a passion for authentic and inclusive leadership. She believes that we are human first and that the titles we hold do not define us.
She advocates for a range of issues such as gender and racial equity, was recently recognised as LinkedIn Top Voice for Gender Equity (Australia) and loves empowering other women to unleash their X-factor and use it to propel their careers forward.
She is a founding member of Human Leaders, an angel investor in the US venture studio Nobody Studios and a Peer Support Companion for The Pink Elephants Support Network (an organisation that supports women who have experienced early pregnancy losses).
She is also a mother of two little munchkins, loves reading, yoga, travel, good food and wine, and dancing up a storm.
Speak Out Revolution is an award winning non-profit, founded in 2020, on a mission to cancel the culture of silence on workplace harassment and bullying. They provide a platform for targets of non inclusive behaviours at work to safely speak out and present collective insights in the Speak Out Dashboard so everyone can drive positive change for truly inclusive working.
