Event description

Description

Whether you are an individual giving fundraiser writing appeals, an events fundraiser writing events copy or writing a thank you letter to a donor, how do you get your message across and bring your organisation’s story to life so that donors will want to support you for years to come? How do you ensure the words you write build a lifetime relationship with your donors?

Guest Speaker, Creative and copy writer, Nick Cauldry will be telling you how. This interactive session will look at how you can make the often-perceived mundane copy in your organisation come to life and achieve the results you need. Whether it is events copy, thank you letters, or consent wording. Nick will look at the art of story telling, writing with your donor in mind and giving you a few tricks of the trade he has gained from his 25 years of experience working for creative agencies in the charity sector with large household charity names such as the Samaritans and RSPB.

Get the most out of this session –do feel free to bring any pieces of copy that you would like to share with Nick – This could be examples which have worked well or pieces you are struggling to make work.
