Following on from the success of the first event in The Series of Fortunate Events, "Champagne Afternoon Tea", Girl Boss, Kiran Syan Nota is thrilled to be hosting a glamorous event to celebrate YOU at "The Power of You" alongside the fabulously stylish professional speaker, Tamsin Napier-Munn.

As we know there is nothing quite like spending quality time with your favorite girlfriends and getting the chance to meet new inspirational women 👩🏽‍❤️‍👩🏼this event will focus on bringing like-minded ladies together for fashion, fun, insights, connectivity, and support in the wonderful setting of Gerrards Cross Golf Club.

Speakers

Kiran Syan Nota is a lawyer who loves fashion and platforming other women. A successful businesswoman, Kiran knows first-hand the juggle of life as a working mother. She has a unique perspective on maximising potential, goal setting, delivering under pressure and how to achieve consistent and resilient success whilst having a bit of fun.

She will offer a snapshot of her own rollercoaster ride of life, sharing with you her experience of devasting loss and how she struggled to remember her voice. Kiran will share how she regained control of her own life and is committed to leading by example, endeavouring to help others do the same.

Tamsin Napier-Munn is an enthusiastic, skilled, and energetic speaker whose engaging style ensures that her talks are not only highly relevant but have a lasting positive impact. On the surface Tamsin has enjoyed a highly successful fashion career. But that is only half the story. The reality is that she has had to overcome personal struggles with confidence and anxiety, and has tasted the bitter pill of failure too, all of which she will powerfully share as part of her message.

As a result of her experience and determination to learn to speak up and step up, Tamsin has been inspired to reach out to those that have not yet found their voice, to find the courage and skills to get seen and get heard.

Anna Fowler is the Development and Fundraising Manager for the charity, Smart Works Reading. Anna will be speaking about the incredible work the staff and volunteers do to give their clients dressing and interview coaching into work. Smart Works clients come from all walks of life and include lone parents, the long term unemployed, domestic abuse survivors, women with disabilities, school and college leavers, carers, ex-offenders, and transgender women. Anna will explain how Smartworks transforms their lives. Fashion and charity what a great combination!

Shopping experience

Girl boss, Laura Gravestock, designer, and founder of Laura Gravestock Jewellery. Her pieces regularly appear in publications such as InStyle, Red, Cosmopolitan, and Grazia and is a favourite amongst celebrities and influencers, including Taylor Swift and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Lovely Parneet, designer, and founder of The Jewel Jar a luxury jewellery platform. Her love for jewellery stems from her life’s experiences and personal journey. Her inspiration comes from traditional art, architecture and culture that is merged with modern aesthetics to effortlessly blend the new and the old, making her jewels unique. Her jewellery has been worn by celebrities and influencers across the globe.

Smart Works Reading, our most local Smart Works branch will be bringing some great stock of new shoes and boots, as well as some carefully curated brand clothing items.

Artist, Johanci, creates artwork that is beautiful to her and can compliment any interior. Her work is colourful and expressive. She loves painting, enjoys working with mixed media and creating statement artwork. Johanci will be showcasing some of her original art pieces.

Jenny and Emma two best friends 👭🏻and clothes lovers are the proud owners of their designer, re-sale boutique in the beautiful village of Jordans. Vintage & Vogue sells an interesting mix of gently used high end clothing and accessories at a fraction of their original cost (omg yes!) mixing recent fashion pieces with vintage treasures 💕💃🏽👗👠👡👜 @muddystilettos winners! 🏆

Amazing Girl Boss, Georgina Daniel 🤩 founder @t.andtoff is also showcasing. This inspiring lady is the founder of t.&toff, her luxury lifestyle brand, which combines unique fragrances and ingredients such as tonka bean, tuberose and Hawaiian black lava salts. Far removed from the usual array of candle brands, t.&toff is the ideal gift to give and receive. Each candle is designed to accompany a bath tea or salt, with a therapeutic collection ranging from citrus to floral.As featured in Vogue, Women of the City magazine and John Lewis.

Because these ladies are stylish superstars they will all be donating 10% of profits on the day to Smart Works, I couldn’t be more excited, eek! 😆 I hope you are too!

Location

Gorgeous Gerrards Cross Golf Club is set in beautiful parkland with extensive woodland areas. The Clubhouse offers the perfect place to meet in comfortable surroundings. With superb views over the wonderful grounds, this picturesque venue in South Buckinghamshire offers panoramic views of the golf course. It provides the perfect backdrop for this event and parking is free.

Itinerary

11.00: Drink on arrival, lots of fashion, shopping and connection.

12:00: Welcome by the host, Kiran Nota, and introductions.

12:10 Tamsin Napier-Munn, our professional speaker, a story of inspired resilience.

13:00: Sit down lunch (two course meal with a drink, followed by tea, coffee and mints).

14:00: Leading an intentional life – personal impact by Tamsin followed by Anna Fowler, Smart Works .

14:30 – 17:00 Lots of shopping and mingling with like-minded, aspirational women. Plus an AMAZING auction and raffle (think perfume that is sold only in Harrods, The Grove, Stoke Place, Yaprak, Scamp and Dude and lots more up for grabs).
