Description

This session will run in two parts. In the first half, the PR Power Hour, attendees will learn about the value of public relations, how to develop a successful strategy to get your business into the media, how to measure KPIs from a PR campaign, and the nuances of how your company can stand out within the design sector.

In the second half, a number of attendees will be able to partake in 1:1 sessions with the host – Dominic Pollard, director of City Road Communications – to talk more specifically about how to make PR work for their business.

PART ONE: THE VALUE OF PR

For many business leaders, PR can be something of an alien concept. Some do not quite understand what PR entails, while others question the value of investing in it. However, if done right, it can have a huge impact on improving the awareness and reputation of a brand as well as supporting long-term commercial growth.

During the PR Power Hour presentation, City Road Comms will answer the following questions:
• What exactly do we mean by PR, and why do all businesses need a PR strategy?
• What value can PR deliver to a business – and how do you measure it?
• What are the keys to developing an effective PR strategy for your business?
• And what are the most important dos and don’ts when speaking to journalists?

Importantly, the first half of the session will include examples of how other businesses in the design sector have successfully managed to get their brand in front of potential customers in the media.

PART TWO: 1:1 SESSIONS

The second half of this session offers a limited number of attendees from Part One to have a 1:1 meeting with Dominic Pollard, director of City Road Communications and host of the session. In these meetings you can discuss specifically how PR could benefit your business and what the top tips are for developing an effective strategy.

If you book a 1:1 session you will be informed of your timeslot in advance of the day.
