Join us on June 11, 2022, at 9 am PT / noon ET / 5 pm GMT for a Global Anthropology Project (GAP) sponsored practicing/professional network event titled: Presentation of International Projects Recognized by the Praxis Awards.
The event will feature four guest speakers:
- Adam Koons: “Emergency Food Security Recovery: An Afghanistan Case”
- Olive Minor: “Anthropology in an Epidemic: Ebola in West Africa”
- Nayanika Mookherjee: “Birangona: Toward Ethical Testimonies of Sexual Violence During Conflict”
- Mark Edberg: “Using the Concept of Well-Being: Developing and Implementing a Framework for UNICEF Planning and Evaluating Efforts to Achieve Rights and Development Goals for Children and Families
The GAP Collaboration is made up of The National Association for the Practice of Anthropology (NAPA); the Washington Association of Professional Anthropologists (WAPA); the Applied Anthropology Network (AAN) of the European Association of Social Anthropologists (EASA); the Careers Readiness Commission; and Anthro to UX.
