The Printworks Vintage Swing
Sun 16 April 2017, 12:00 – 17:00 BST
For the fourteenth consecutive year the Easter Vintage Swing festival will liven up The Printworks with performances from Jackson Sloan as well as vintage stalls and cars to change a weekend normally renowned for egg hunts and bonnets to a day of fun, dancing and a trip back in time! There will be facepainting and an Easter egg hunt for children.
Sunday 16 April
This year, The Printworks will be celebrating the end of Lent with the egg-citing return of its fourteenth annual Vintage Swing Festival, which promises to bring vintage cars, stalls, plenty of family fun, and of course- a whole lot of chocolate!
The fourteenth consecutive Easter Vintage Swing festival will be making its return on Sunday 16 April from 12pm-5pm with performances from Blues musician Jackson Sloan, free dance lessons courtesy of Katz Korner swing dance company and the Lindy-Hop and Swing group, and a host of vintage stalls and cars for a day of swinging, singing and dancing back in time!
Children can also join in on the fun with a children’s face painter and a special Easter egg hunt within the scheme - all you have to do is find a picture of an egg to get it swapped for a chocolate one!
For some additional family fun, Hard Rock Cafe is inviting families to Hop into Spring for its ever-popular Breakfast with Bunny experience. From 10am until 11:30am guests can start their Sunday with some special Easter fun - a full English breakfast fit for a rockstar, with cereal, tea, coffee, and a selection of juices, as well as face painting, balloon modelling, and magic tricks to entertain the children. Guests can also expect a special appearance from the Easter bunny… you’d be hopping mad to miss it!
With various dining venues within The Printworks there are even more options to enjoy a family meal. Kids-friendly Frankie & Benny’s The Printworks provides a super kids pack for each child filled with activities, as well as complimentary balloons, whilst Chiquito’s boasts a family fun pack, Kids’ menu and Young Adults menu. Other family-friendly venues available includes Harvester, Peachy Keens, and Busaba, providing parents with plenty of choice for a fun Easter Day out.
