Your Covid Safe Halloween night of frights awaits you at the Priory Park Horror. The Ghouls and the Ghosts will be all amongst us; in the scariest week of the year, here in the darkness of Priory Park, you are invited on a journey, a journey to discover the secrets hidden within these haunted hallows; once the home of the Prioress and her nuns, these trees and hollows are now haunted by the evil deeds carried out within them; spirits from the Bate Hall, Ghosts, Ghouls and Goblins, Satanic Spectres, Phantoms, Demonic Un-deads - lost souls from the past. They’re all waiting to meet you! Ha,ha,ha,ha. Book online now, but if you’re a scaredy-cat, don’t bother stay at home and watch TV. Book now before your time is up, ha, ha, ha, ha”
Horror walks start from 6.30 to 9.30pm 28th – 30th October, groups of 4-6 people only, adult age restrictions over 14 years only, under 17s must be accompanied with an adult. The walk consists of multiple scare points that your group will visit with a 5mintue distance between each group. Approx. 40 minutes from start to finish.
The outdoor beer garden will be open at the end of your walk along with the Priory Cafe serving hot food & warm refreshments. There will be a table QR code ordering service.

FAQs
Q. Is The Priory Park Horror suitable for young children?
A. No, The Priory Park Horror is strictly for 14 years and above. Those aged 14 – 17 years require an adult over 18 per party. Priory Park Horror may use language deemed offensive and or too mature for younger visitors. No easily scared or easily offended people should enter The Priory Park Horror. No refund will be given if you find the experience too horrific.
We are looking into organising a child friendly scare walk to lead up to the PPH. This would be 5pm-6:15 on Wed 28th, Thu 29th & Frid 30th. However this isnt confirmed yet but will be as soon as possible.
Q. Do I need to wear a mask?
A. Ideally yes please, as there will be screams, as such it is ideal to wear a mask to protect others. Mask MUST be worn at the start and end if you book a table in the outdoor food and drink area.
Q. What type of footwear is suitable on the night?
A. Our attraction is mostly on grass and rough paths, therefore flat, comfortable shoes are strongly advised. There may be wet areas also, so wellingtons are advised.
Q. Are there refreshments on the night?
A. Yes, a selection of hot and cold food and drinks/bar will be available on the night. BRING YOUR CARD as everything is contactless. We will also have social distancing areas. Bars/food stands close at 10pm. If you have any dietary requirements please ask our food and beverage team before purchasing your order.
Q. Are there toilet facilities on site?
A. Yes
Q. Does any part of the walk contain strobe lighting, smoke machines and/or loud noises?
A. Yes all of our Scare stations contain at least one of these elements, if you are sensitive to these conditions please do not enter.
Q. Can I get a refund on my ticket if I don’t go in an attraction or lose my ticket, or change my mind?
A. No, all tickets are non-refundable or transferable under any circumstance unless there is new Covid-19 guidance that states that groups of 6 cannot attend, or that we can not host the event. In this case we will refund your ticket.
Q. Does The Priory Park Horror contain live actors?
A. Yes, The Priory Park Horror contains live actors, there will also be additional street theatre and roaming actors on the night. Please do not touch the actors and keep your social distance. Actors will make zero physical contact with you due to the Coronavirus measures implemented. Failure to comply with this rule will result in ejection from The Priory Park Horror without refund and refusal from future dates/events. Employees of The Priory Park Horror and our hosts Macclesfield RUFC are to be treated with respect, failure to do so will result in refusal of entry. Offenders will be prosecuted, CCTV and sound recording devices are present throughout The Priory Park Horror.
Q. Are the attractions outside?
A. Yes, the event is outdoors, however, we do have undercover areas including the stand, and outdoor bar, and indoor bars (indoor must be table bookings only)
Q. Will the attractions run if it rains or snows or the wind blows?
A. Yes – be prepared for an Autumnal Macclesfield evening?
Q. What time does the event start?
A. Entry times are from 6:30 pm up to 9:30 pm. Please arrive promptly 10mins before you selected time when pre-booking your tickets. If you are over 15min early please wait in your car. If you are late, there is a possibility you wont be able to attend the walk.
Unfortunately the walk is on soft group so may not be suitable for wheelchair users.
