Is there free parking if I'm in the car?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the VeloPark postcode is E20 3AB and both Apple and Google Maps recognise this as the VeloPark on Abercrombie Road. The VeloPark have kindly agreed to provide  4 hours free parking for up to 50 cars . DO NOT FORGET to give Reception your registration number, as you could be fined if you don't!

Question 2

Which way should I go if I'm coming by tube?

Accepted Answer

You’ll likely come into Stratford on either the Central or Jubilee lines and you should then take the DLR to Stratford International, with the VeloPark being 5 mins walk from there, in pretty much a straight line. Enter E20 3AB into your phone and Hey presto!

Question 3

Which way should I go if I'm arriving by train?

Accepted Answer

You’ll either arrive into Stratford, in which case, take the DLR to Stratford International, as per tube travel, or if arriving into Stratford International, turn left when you exit the barriers inside the main station concourse, enter E20 3AB into your phone and you’ll be there in 5 mins.

Can I get breakfast before the challenge starts?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there are great options within East Village: Signorelli bakery (the pastries are amazing!) and Tina We Salute You (good breakfast and great views!) are on Victory Parade, with Charles Artisan Bread on Abercrombie Road, directly opposite the VeloPark and is open from 8am!

What time should I arrive at the VeloPark?

Accepted Answer

Aim to arrive between 9.30 -9.45 at the VeloPark to ensure you’re ready to go for the 10am start! You'll also have some time for a quick brekkie, if you need it :)

Are there free lockers at the VeloPark?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there are lots of free lockers and also changing rooms at the VeloPark if you need them.

Are there staff to help me with anything on the day?

Accepted Answer

We will have around 10 people wearing blue "The Prost8 Challenge Event Support" T-shirts, so please talk to one of the team if you need help with anything on the day.
