• Based upon the work of Patsy Wagner and development of Consultation as a comprehensive model of service delivery for EPs

• With reference to subsequent developments of Consultation within the Tri-Borough EPCS (Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster and Hammersmith and Fulham) and now Bi-Borough EPCS (Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster)

This workshop will provide opportunities to develop greater understanding of the practice and process of Consultation

• Whole school / Group and Individual level Consultations – Focus on psychological models, tools, frameworks and scripts.

• Observations - Key aspects of classroom organisation and management - the social, physical and learning environments

• Video Enhanced Reflective Practice – reflecting on practice – examples of consultations

• Joint School Family Consultations – Focus on Systemic thinking and Families as systems

• Hypotheses and lines of questioning from a systemic, interactionist and social constructionist perspective – with a focus on i) social behaviour and ii) cognition and learning
