Event description

Description

People are fascinated by espionage and spying. How do you go undercover, risk your safety in high-risk situations. What is the psychology behind the ability to be a spy? What did this mean for those archaeologists recruited or involved in espionage to help the war effort in the Middle East and what does it mean now for our contemporaries engaged in intelligence gathering now? Join Dr Roderick Bailey, Wellcome Unit for the History of Medicine University of Oxford and UCL academics to explore this subject. Just remember to keep it under your hat and don’t tell anyone!
