About this event

The Purposeful Project invites 8 successful entrepreneurs from celebrated brands to share their areas of expertise in starting a business. Speakers will explore the fundamental aspects of running and scaling your business, personal branding, community building, raising money and hiring the right people.

9am: Alex Depledge, MBE | Theme: How to raise money

9:30am: Simon Squibb | Theme: Personal brand vs Company Brand

Simon is an entrepreneur, angel investor, mentor, podcast host, founder and Chief Purpose Officer at The Purposeful Project. He has started 17 companies, invested in over 60+ startups and has mentored hundreds of founders.

10:30am: Jess Butcher MBE | Theme: Building your personal board of advisors

Jess is A technology entrepreneur, angel investor and business advisor. She was Co-founder and CMO of Blippar during its ascent as one of the global tech pioneers in the field of Augmented Reality(>$120M of investment, CNBC Disruptor 50 company).

11am: Beta Luca | Theme: Become successful as a multi-hyphenate

Beta is a well respected multi-hyphenate serial entrepreneur, Forbes Top 50 Women in Tech, angel investor, NED, futurist, international keynote speaker and host of Hyper Curious podcast. The MBA British-Brazilian and former Computer Scientist founded and grew multiple businesses, including the BAFTA-winning Bossa Studios, a VC-backed, multi-million-dollar video games company that reaches millions of Millennials and Gen Z consumers worldwide.
