Event description

Description

Please join Queen Square Private Healthcare and our colleagues at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, for the next event in our popular series of free GP seminars.

For this event, Dr Richard Sylvester, Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and advisor to the English Football Association will be discussing sports related concussion.

"Concussion in contact sport is a hot topic, with a lot of media and public concern about the short and long term effects of concussion. This seminar will address how to identify and manage concussion. It will also cover the management of chronic symptoms after head injury and review the evidence for links between concussion and long term neurocognitive disorders."

As always, registration for this event is free and certificates will be provided for CPD. All delegates are also welcome to attend a drinks reception at the Queen Square Private Consulting Rooms following the session.

Please note these are sessions are designed for medical professionals and are not approrpriate for patients or members of the general public.
