FAQs (Frequently asked questions)

Is this event refundable?

No, as this is a charity event it is NON-REFUNDABLE(only exception if it had to be cancelled because of Covid in which case you'd be offered a ticket to the next date of the show) However if you have accidentally ordered duplicate tickets then please contact eventbrite within 7 days of your purchase.

Are the tickets transferable?

They are not transferable for other Phoxy Qurvy Productions, however if you wish to give your ticket to somebody else then please contact Phoxy Qurvy at Phoxyqurvy@outlook.com for details on how to do this.

Do I have to print off my ticket?

You can if you want to but it is not necessary as Phoxy Qurvy has a guest list with your names and order numbers. You just need to give your name at the door and you will be directed to the seat and the table you have booked.

Can I pay for drinks, raffle tickets and other merchandise with debit or credit cards?

Yes, with some exceptions. The Bar is now accepting cash and debit cards, however the CHARITY RAFFLE, SOUVENIRS AND MERCHANDISE are all CASH ONLY (at time of publishing the event, although this is subject to change), so make sure you bring your pennies and extra for the raffle. Plus the bar card machine is a bit temperamental - cash is the way forward!

Should I bring CASH too?

Yes, our Raffle tickets, souvenir charity programmes, charity calendars and merch are all CASH ONLY payments

Can we go to the bar during the performances?

Yes, however we do ask you to be respectful of other audience members and the performers and not obscure anyone's view of the stage.

What time can we arrive from?

The doors open at 6pm for the show to start at approximately 7pm. Please don't come into the hall before 6pm as the production team and performers will be busy putting the finishing touches together. If you enter the building before we open the doors to the public you will be politely asked to leave until opening time.

Does the show have intervals?

Yes, the show has three acts and two 15 minute intervals.

Is parking available?

Yes, there is a carpark behind the Village Hall, situated just off of Oaktree Close and there is free parking on the road too but please don't block the road. The hall carpark will be locked after the show and won't be open until the next morning but only for a brief period, so if you are leaving your car overnight and won't be available in the morning then make sure that you leave it somewhere you'll have access to the next day.

Is there a Dress Code?

No, but we encourage you to DRESS TO IMPRESS! Our shows often have a theme - which will be announced at a later date - however they are optional.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

No, there is a fully licensed bar that provides beverages and snacks

Is there an age restriction?

Yes, you must be 18+ to attend this event as it contains adult humour and striptease

Is photography allowed?

No, the event is professionally videoed, photographed and livestreamed. You may take photos if you have the permission of the performers and/or the producer. Please watch and enjoy the show, especially if you are there to support friends and family members, without the chore of having a phone attached to your hand. Enjoy the moment, we have the photography covered.

Can I sit with people I know?

Yes, if you have booked the same tier tickets. This show is allocated seating so we cannot mix VIP and GENERAL admission tables as all the ticket types have different prices - however if you book together you will be seated together. If you book tickets separately but of the same type and want to be seated together, please contact Phoxy Qurvy at phoxyqurvy@outlook.com with your request and she will do her utmost to fulfil that request but cannot guarantee any seat changes. Please be advised that each table has a capacity of ten, if your party is less than ten you may be sat with other people.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, it has wide doors, a disabled toilet and access to the hall. Please contact Phoxy Qurvy if you have special requirements and she will endeavour to fulfil your needs.

How should I behave at a Burlesque show?

We encourage our audiences to be vocal and cheer for our performers - however if you are talking loudly throughout the performances, obscuring people's views and generally disrupting other audience members' enjoyment of the show you will be asked to leave. Burlesque and Cabaret performers may decide to interact with you but please do not touch them unless they give you permission and do not keep any of their discarded costume pieces, they are not souvenirs, and will be collected by the stage manager to be returned to the artist.
