Event description
The Race is On is new film about Climate Change and what we need to do. With film -makers James and Paul plus a panel

About this Event

The Race is On is being shown for the first time in Portsmouth.

This film explores the assumptions that lie at the heart of all governments’ plans to avoid climate breakdown.

With contributions from experts and change makers, we see how humanity can rise to the challenge, and ensure a flourishing future.

Followed by Q&A with the film’s producer/presenter and panel discussion on galvanising a response to climate change.

James Dyke: presenter and co-producer of ‘The Race is On’

Academic, writer, and public speaker, senior Lecturer at the Global Systems Insitute at the University of Exeter, James is a member of the European Geophysical Union and serves on the editorial board of the journal Earth System Dynamics.
