The Recovery Street Film Festival 2025 Award Ceremony & Screening

Join us for the Recovery Street Film Festival 2025 on Saturday 27 September, 1–5PM at the London Screen Academy, Highbury Grove N5. Hosted by Actor & RSFF judge Jason Flemyng and brought to you by Sobriety Films UK with Islington Council Public Health, this free national event showcases 10 powerful short films created by filmmakers with lived experience of substance use. In association with Phoenix Futures, Adfam, Waythrough, Project 6 and Turning Point.

Enjoy an inspiring afternoon with this celebrity-hosted awards ceremony, with live performances by Stand-up comedian James Redmond, the Detox Factor and an alcohol-free afterparty from Sober Events UK.

Now in its 11th year, the festival offers a platform for voices often unheard, using film to challenge stigma, spark understanding, and inspire change. Bringing together local organisations, creatives, and recovery advocates, it’s a celebration of courage, connection, and community.

Doors open at 13.00 for a 13.30 start.
