Event description

Description

Based on the Edgar Allan Poe short story, this new gothic play tells the tale of one eccentric Prince Prospero, who holds a masked party in his secluded abbey during the throngs of a deadly plague known as "The Red Death".

As the party continues, a mysterious masked figure in a scarlet robe invades the house, and the group attempt to track him down through rooms of the palace, in an attempt to capture death before it captures them.

Set in 7 colour coded rooms of an eccentric palace, "The Red Death" explores the concepts of disease and mortality, class division and the great fear that we all share: the fear of our own death.
