The REME Institution London Reception 2018

The London Reception 2018 is open to all members of the REME Institution with the overall capacity limited to 500 attendees. It is anticipated that the event will be oversubscribed so applications for attendance are limited to a maximum of 2 places per REME Institution member (one for the member plus one guest). REME serving officers or retired officers who are not Institution members will be required to join the Institution to participate in the attendance ballot.

The event will be take the form of a drinks reception with each attendee required to offset the cost to the REME Institution through a donation of £32.50 per person. Please note that there will no food served at the event. Attendees will be selected by intelligent ballot to ensure that the allocation of places represents a spread across ranks and units, serving and retired. Every attendance application received will be entered in to the ballot with those who are initially unsuccessful being placed in order on a reserve list.

Attendance applications can be made through the use of this online form. Payment must be made to secure your place in the ballot - those individuals whose applications are not successful will have their full application costs refunded directly to their account.

The ballot will take place before Fri 14 Jul 17 with successful applicants being notified by Fri 21 Jul 17.

Dress - lounge suits or equivalent.

Transport - self-sourced, information will be provided to enable those travelling from neighbouring locations to arrange to share transport, parking is available at Buckingham Palace for those who request it.

Timings - the reception will commence at 1800 hrs and will draw to a close by 2000 hrs.
