About this event

Business • Career

Why did you choose to become a people professional?

Now you know the reality of the job, are you making the difference you had hoped for?

Are you becoming disillusioned or worried about burnout?

Do you sometimes feel a conflict between your values and what you’re expected to do?

Do you ever feel compassion fatigue, struggling to get your own needs met at work while trying to meet everyone else’s?

Burnout and disillusion among the people profession is arguably higher than ever before; typically showing up as fatigue or illness. Work that misaligns with personal or professional values can cause moral injury. Compassion fatigue is increasingly common. As those in the people profession struggle to cope, it becomes hard to keep human empathy and personalisation at the heart of our work.

And now for some good news!!

  • Most people professionals want to be part of a positive future! If you’re one of them, this Live, Interactive Workshop is the place for you.
  • This inspiring event, will be unlike anything you’ve been to before. So, what’s the invitation we’re offering you?
  • A unique blend of:
  • Empathy and support, releasing courageous energy for change
  • Laughter and joy, plus thought provoking conversation and honesty
  • Unlearning, experimenting, having fun and embracing the discomfort we often face
  • Time and space to be, connect and reflect, along with heaps of practical action

What will you leave with?

  • Leading-edge, impactful ideas and approaches to embed into your everyday practice as a leader
  • Revived energy, courage and belief in your potential to lead positive change
  • New human connections and relationship in an inspiring leadership community

To compliment the main event described above we are exploring additional input around employment law and regionally funded business support. These are to be confirmed.
