About this event

Health • Other

Join us each month for a 90-minute online class where you'll be guided to shift from your head brain into your heart brain using Conscious Connecting Breathing.

This style of breathwork is active and can shift you into new states of awareness, release tension in the body, and connect you with Higher-Self wisdom (aka your intuition).

You'll have time to rest and reflect at the end of class to bring any new insights into your conscious mind and daily life.

No experience needed - come as you are.

🌀 Everyone's session is unique, but you may feel one or some of these things:

⌾ Lighter, like years of tension have been released

⌾ Sudden clarity on a challenge

⌾ New ideas and a feeling of actually having the energy to bring them to life

⌾ Deepened connection to intuition (by quieting the ego brain)

This class is designed to reset your nervous system and connect you with new insights and creativity for the month ahead.

⚠️ Breathwork Waiver: Please read the waiver here before booking the class.

🌀 Things to know:

  • Eat light before the session - ideally leave at least an hour to digest
  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine right before

🌀 How to Set Up Your Space at Home:

  • Comfy clothes
  • Yoga mat or cozy flat surface
  • Water / Tea
  • Headphones (optional, but helps the body drop into the online experience)
  • Journal (optional, but a great way to settle the mind as we focus on the body, or jot down insights or ideas that arise)

Looking forward to breathing with you,

Justine

Frequently asked questions

What will it feel like?

Everyone's experience is different; you may feel tingly, floaty, hot or cold, calm, or possibly emotional as tension is released. You could get tighness in your hands - this is not dangerous and many people allow it to come and go, but you can stop it by slowing your breath.

I heard it can feel like plant medicine or hypnosis, is that true?

Some people do say that, but unlike plant medicine or hypnosis, you are in complete control and can slow your breath and return to your normal state, anytime.

Will I cry?

Maybe. But maybe not. You might also feel calm, total bliss, a connection with god, or a total emotional release of tension that's been stuck in the body for years. Each session is totally unique. Trust that the breath knows where it needs to go, and see where it takes you.

My kids are home, can I still do this?

I get asked this a lot, so here's my very personal experience and thoughts. I choose not to do deep dive breathwork unless someone else is home to support my kids. As we breathe, we can enter deep states of relaxation, and I don't tend to go there unless I'm not the main parent on duty.

I just started my period, does that matter?

The answer is yes, you can still do breathwork. If your body wants to take things slower, let it.

I heard your hands can cramp up, is that true?

It is true - it's called tetany. When our blood gases are totally thrown off, this can happen. Some people roll with it and see where this discomfort might take them in the journey, and others want it to stop. If that's you, just slow your breath and your hand will return to normal.

Can I get up mid way?

Physically, yes. But many people feel deeply relaxed or in altered states of consciousness, so if you do have to get up, be very careful, walk slowly and hold onto something to steady yourself if needed.

Can anyone do this? CONTRAINDICATIONS

These classes are for * almost * anyone, as long as you are not newly pregnant, have an acute heart condition, epilepsy, glaucoma, bipolar, or Schizophrenia.
