How do I get there ?

With normal traffic from Brighton it takes about 15 minutes and easy to get to. It is situated opposite Devils Dyke. We encourage car sharing where possible. We will order Ubers for the group of people joining us from Hove Station at 12 noon for each retreat. We'll book the return journeys for 5 pm.

Question 2

Is there internet access?

Accepted Answer

Outside the Learning Barn there's no mobile reception or internet access. We have strategies in place to ensure that we can make contact if needed. We encourage group walking or in pairs only to ensure safety enabling esier emergency callis.

Question 3

How's the access?

Accepted Answer

The Learning Barn, onsite garden and toilets and surrounding areas are wheelchair accessible, although some is a bit of a rough terrain and may need a helping hand. The walks are accessible to people with walking mobility issues for a slower pace. Bring sturdy walking boots and wind/rain proof gear.

What facilities are there?

There are tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. The Learning Barn has heating and a fire place. As autumn days are approaching do bring extra warm layers just in case. We provide snacks, range of teas, juice and coffee. Please bring your own lunch for your dietary needs.

Personal arrangements?

If you need to arrive later or leave earlier you are welcome to suit your own needs. Please make your own arrangements.Please ensure that you do not arrive later than an hour as we maybe out on walks and we'd like you to  not be alone during the retreat. Always contact us for clarification.

Question 6

Clothing!

Accepted Answer

As the weather cools please bring layers of clothing, extra pair of socks, loose clothing for easy movement inside the Learning Barn, especially for our event on 29th September. For our walk please bring sturdy shoes and waterproofs - just in case. A flask with hot liquid is always handy.
