Event description

Description

The Retirement Café gives you an opportunity to learn more about issues and challenges that may affect your retirement, over coffee and cake.

This month's Retirement Cafe event is for anyone who wants to learn why and how to use Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Host Justin King, Chartered Financial Planner at MFP Wealth Management specialising in pension and retirement planning, will be joined by specialists in Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Paul Solomons, partner at Solomons Solicitors specialises in advising private clients on all aspects of estate and legacy planning, including Lasting Powers of Attorney. He is a member of the private client section of the Law Society and the specialist Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners (STEP).

Paul is also a member of a number of charitable committees and has been Chairman of the Christchurch Citizens Advice Bureau board of Trustees since 2002.

This two-hour event will cover the following important areas:

- What a Lasting Power of Attorney is

- Why you need one

- How to put one in place

There will be an opportunity to ask your questions directly to the panel and to talk to them individually afterwards. You are welcome to attend the seminar with family members.

Information shared is for guidance only. You will definitely not be sold to at the Retirement Café. In fact, you cannot buy anything - not even the coffee! The coffee and cake are on us and so is the chat.

Space at this event is limited to 30 attendees; you should reserve your free ticket early to avoid disappointment.
