Event description

Description

The RCN Scottish Board first met on 1 November 2016. To commemorate this historic event, join Dr Alison O’Donnell from the RCN History of Nursing Society to find out about the Scottish founders of the RCN and RCN Scotland past and present. Hospital matrons from around the UK, such as Annie Warren Gill of the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, were vital in realising the shared vision of a College of Nursing. The talk will be followed by an archive show & tell which will include documents from the 1916 board meeting.
