The Rime of The Ancient Mariner
Fri 21 October 2016, 19:00 – 22:00 BST
Coleridge's tale of a journey out into another hemisphere, an encounter with the hidden spirit in the depths of a primal image in the heights, of a transition through nightmare and dream to a new waking and a changed consciousness is a tale for our own time. It will be a particular help and of resonance for those concerned with the deep levels of human psyche.
In this talk, Malcolm Guite will draw on his findings for his forthcoming book, Mariner: A Voyage with Samuel Taylor Coleridge
