We will be delighted to welcome participants to glorious Cumbria!

You will have the opportunity to listen to leading professionals working with people with brain injuries and their families. Useful for members of the legal professions, neurologists, neuropsychologists, therapists, GPs and primary care teams, adult care social workers, major trauma teams, police, health and social care commissioners.

There will be a parallel programme specially designed for people living with brain injuries, their families and carers.

Tickets include refreshments and buffet lunch.

  • Professor Gus Baker Consultant and Emeritus Professor of Clinical Neuropsychology “Psychological adjustment after brain injury”
  • Dr. Audrey Daisley Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist “Parenting after brain injury”
  • Dr. Giles Yeates Clinical Psychologist and Charlie Wilson trainee Clinical Psychologist “Sex and intimacy after brain injury”

Parallel programme includes workshops on:

  • Dr. David Footitt Consultant Neurologist “Living with epilepsy”
  • Dr. Jitka Vanderpol “Managing headaches after brain injury”
  • Dr. Giles Yeates Clinical Psychologist “Sex and intimacy after brain injury”
  • Members of the Cumbria ABI Rehab team “Fatigue after ABI”

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is excellent parking available at the hotel and a number of disabled parking spaces, clearly marked.

Oxenholme Lake District is the main line railway station. You may wish to book a taxi to the hotel which is only 2 Miles away.
