With the climate and ecological emergency in the forefront of global and local news, we all need to be sure that the decisions we take today leave a positive legacy for tomorrow and support Government targets to reducing greenhouse gases to zero.
This is a rare opportunity to hear from Craig Bennett, CEO of Friends of the Earth on whether it is time for the government to rethink its whole approach to transport in light of the Climate Crisis we are facing.
Local resident, Darrell Gale will discuss the A27 Arundel bypass options proposed by Highways England, and the benefits of the Arundel Alternative, the low impact route that Arundel residents are campaigning for.
Henri Brocklebank, Director of Conservation at Sussex Wildlife Trust will talk about the wildlife and countryside under threat from Highways England's proposed new road development in the Arun Valley.
