Come with us back to the year 1016 when the invading Vikings led by Canute clash in a mighty battle fought in Ashingdon. See the battle recreated by a cast of 100's of practiced re-enactors in full period costume.

Visit the Living History Village and experience what life was like in the medieval era. How did they do everyday tasks, what tools did they use, what did they eat? All of these questions and more will be answered and demonstrated by experts and artisans who will live this way for the entire weekend.

No medieval event would be complete without Jousting, so Jousting we shall have. This is the real deal, real metal armour, real war horses , real lances, and a stunning display of medieval pageantry.
