The role business can play in supporting young women
Wednesday 9th December
9am-10am
For many women and girls across the UK, right now is a particularly challenging time. 78% of those who have lost their jobs since the Covid-19 pandemic began are women and two-thirds of these are aged between 18 and 34. For those who are particularly vulnerable - single parents or those affected by domestic violence, disability or mental illness - the challenges can seem insurmountable.
The Prince’s Trust Change a Girl’s Life Campaign will harness the power of brands to drive action and raise life-changing funds next International Women’s Day, 8th March 2021, to support the most vulnerable.
Join Frances Milner, Prince’s Trust Director of Fundraising, and expert panelists for an insightful discussion on the unique challenges facing young women today and hear more on how businesses can drive action.
- Chrissie Rucker OBE, Founding Silver Patron of Women Supporting Women and Founder, The White Company
- Ali Jones, Chief Customer Officer, Co-op
- Caroline O’Neill, General Manager, L’Oréal Paris UK and Ireland
- Nero Ughwujabo, Senior Strategic Advisor, Equality Diversity and Inclusion, The Prince’s Trust
