The Role of Lean Construction Research in Addressing Global Challenges

Lean construction researchers have focused their efforts over the years on developing and testing methods, systems, processes, and tools that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve value outcomes in the construction industry. These research efforts are in direct alignment with global targets such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We invite you to join us at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) for an interactive and engaging workshop aimed at exploring the critical role of lean construction research in addressing global challenges, including how lean principles and methods can drive more sustainable, efficient, equitable and resilient built environments. This workshop seeks to bring together academics and researchers in the UK who have an interest in lean construction and will feature expert presentations, collaborative discussions, and opportunities to network with peers who are at the forefront of lean construction research.
