ACTIVIST TO ENTREPRENEUR: THE ROLE OF SOCIAL ENTERPRISE IN SUPPORTING WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT IN THE UK

Are UK social enterprises addressing gender inequality? To what extent are women’s organisations establishing their own businesses to support their work?

These were just two of the questions addressed in a new British Council report on the role of social enterprise as a mechanism to support gender equality and women’s empowerment in the UK
