Event description
Leading governance expert Dorothy Dalton will be sharing her wisdom and experiences with us over a series of 3 online events this December.

About this Event

In October 2019 we hosted an event in conjunction with Cornwall Air Ambulance, attended by 20 new and experienced Chairs and Trustees. This event was a resounding success and feedback from attendees - Chairs, Trustees and aspiring Board Members - was incredibly positive.

We are delighted to confirm that Dorothy Dalton, leading expert on governance will be joining us again and will be sharing her experience and wisdom over a series of 3 online events this December. (Please note that you only need to sign up for the event on 2nd December - please add all 3 dates to your diary and you will be sent a zoom link for each closer to the date).

Dorothy is currently Chair of Governors of the Petchey Academy in Hackney and has been a trustee of many charities including Marie Curie and previously chaired the Board of Journey of a Lifetime Trust and the Governors of Orley Farm School Trust and is a fellow of International Students House. Dorothy was founder of Journey of a Lifetime Trust, the Network of Women Chairs and Groundbreakers: Voluntary Sector Women Leaders. Dorothy has written several books on the subject and was editor of ‘Governance: essential information for effective trustees’ from 2005 to 2016.

Due to COVID restrictions, this will be held via 2 hour Zoom sessions over 3 dates; Wednesdays 2nd, 9th and 16th December from 10 – midday. (Please note that you only need to sign up for the event on 2nd December - please add all 3 dates to your diary and you will be sent a zoom link closer to the date).

The cost is £80 for all 3 sessions (+ booking fee). You will receive confirmation of your booking via automated email and Zoom Links to the sessions directly.

To ensure that these are interactive sessions, the maximum number of attendees will be 22, so please book early to avoid disappointment. (Please note that this will be non-refundable after 10th November).
